Derrick Rose rightly garnered much of the credit for his drive and kick-out pass that led to the Knicks tying Sunday\u2019s eventual win over New Orleans at the end of regulation.<\/p>\n

Reggie Bullock deserves props, too, for being in the right spot in the left corner and for his catch-and-shoot 3-pointer with 2.3 seconds remaining to force overtime before the Knicks closed out the Pelicans for their sixth straight win.<\/p>\n

\u201cDerrick\u2019s great in the pick-and-roll and he draws a lot of attention playing in the pick-and-roll, so players like myself and other shooters on my team, we just gotta stay spacing,\u201d Bullock said after the game<\/a>. \u201cHe\u2019s always going to make the right read. \u2026 He kicked it out, he trusted in me to be able to knock the shot down and that\u2019s what I did. I thanked him and my teammates for continuing to tell me to shoot all night.\u201d<\/p>\n

With Alec Burks sidelined due to the NBA\u2019s health and safety protocols, Bullock finished 3-for-5 from long distance and scored 15 points Sunday to raise his scoring average for the season to 10.0 points per game.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith Alec being out, he\u2019s an aggressive scorer and he brings so much to this team for his offensive ability and what he does on the defensive end, he\u2019s definitely a clamper for us. With him being out, we have 14 other guys that are always ready to step in,\u201d Bullock said. \u201cFrank [Ntilikina] came in and played some huge minutes for us, Kevin [Knox] came in and played some huge minutes.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo it\u2019s all about us collectively doing it again. We are 15, and that\u2019s what we have to stick to and try to pick up for the next man that\u2019s out.\u201d<\/p>\n

One game after facing Lonzo Ball, the Knicks (31-27) will see another potential summertime target on Tuesday, point guard Terry Rozier, who leads the Hornets with 20.7 points per game. \u2026 The Knicks are 15-7 in games Rose has played since a February trade from Detroit.\n <\/div>\n
