Harassment allegations against former \u201cBachelor\u201d star Colton Underwood have led to over 21,000 people signing a petition for Netflix to cancel an upcoming show about him.<\/p>\n

The Change.org petition<\/a>, which has over 21,000 signatures as of this writing, exclusively critiques Underwood\u2019s treatment of his ex, Cassie Randolph \u2014 and not his recent announcement that he is gay<\/a>. Randolph, 25, was granted a restraining order<\/a> in 2020 against Underwood, 29, although she later dropped it<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cColton is a former bachelor lead who stalked his final pick, Cassie Randolph. He placed a tracker on her car, sent her and her friends anonymous threatening texts, and was even seen standing outside her window extremely late in the night, resulting in her brother attempting to de-escalate the situation,\u201d claims the petition, which was started by an anonymous user. \u201cCassie is a victim of Colton\u2019s abuse, and he does not deserve a platform in any way. Regardless of his sexuality, Colton should not be given a platform as a result of his abusive, manipulative, and dangerous behavior.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last week, after Underwood came out as gay in a \u201cGood Morning America\u201d interview, Variety reported<\/a> that the former NFL player is getting his own reality show. \u201cColton began filming prior to going on \u2018Good Morning America,\u2019\u201d a source told Page Six<\/a> of a documentary Underwood had reportedly been working on prior to the interview. \u201cThe docuseries<\/a> has been in the works for a few weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBachelor\u201d fans immediately reinvigorated their calls for a gay season of \u201cThe Bachelor\u201d after Underwood\u2019s announcement about his sexuality. Should it come to fruition, however, many on social media<\/a> feel strongly that Underwood should not lead it.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cTo everyone saying he should get another season and be the first gay bachelor \u2014 are you forgetting how he treated Cassie?? That he put a literal tracker on her car??\u201d wrote one Twitter critic<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Neither Netflix nor Underwood immediately responded to The Post\u2019s request for comment.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
