\n Bryson DeChambeau\u2019s divisive rise in the golf world has now been acknowledged by his biggest rival.<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old DeChambeau has taken the sport by storm since the PGA Tour\u2019s return from the coronavirus shutdown, capp<\/a>ed by a three-shot victory at last week\u2019s Rocket Mortgage Classic in Detroit. It\u2019s not so much the success that has garnered DeChambeau all this attention, though, as much as it is the 40-pound weight gain and booming drives that have accompanied it.<\/p>\n

That has led some to speculate there is more than just protein shakes behind DeChambeau\u2019s bulked-up figure. DeChambeau did not help matters when he snapped at a CBS cameraman on Saturday for filming his angry reaction to a poor bunker shot.<\/p>\n

Enter Brooks Koepka, who took both these storylines and seemingly found the perfect Kenny Powers GIF for which to subtweet DeChambeau.<\/p>\n

Koepka and DeChambeau\u2019s rivalry dates back to January 2019 when Koepka was the most vocal critic of his fellow American\u2019s notoriously meticulous play.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just don\u2019t understand how it takes a minute and 20 seconds, a minute and 15 to hit a golf ball; it\u2019s not that hard,\u201d Koepka said at the time.<\/p>\n

The bad blood lingered throughout last year with DeChambeau admitting in August that the muscly Koepka \u201cwould kick my ass\u201d if the two got into a fight.<\/p>\n

A lot has changed in the last year, though. Both are expected to be in the field for next week\u2019s Memorial Tournament in Ohio.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
