Apple\u2019s new stable of souped up, slimmed-down products will get bathed in bright colors this spring.<\/p>\n

The Cupertino, Calif.-based tech giant on Tuesday unveiled a line of new, 24-inch iMacs that come in seven colors, including yellow, red, teal, rose and orange. It also added a bright lavender option for its iPhone 12 lineup.<\/p>\n

The redesigned iMacs are just 11.5 millimeters thick \u2014 a testament to the company\u2019s long-standing goal of \u201cmaking the computer disappear\u201d when viewed from the side. The bold iMacs will start shipping in May and will cost from $1299 to $1499. <\/p>\n

Chief Executive Tim Cook also unveiled \u201cAir Tag,\u201d a shiny, nickel-sized tracker that will allow users to track keys and other small, easy-to-misplace items with Apple\u2019s \u201cFind My\u201d app. <\/p>\n

The IPhone-maker \u2014 which lately has seen privacy concerns raised about the tiny tracking gadgets \u2014 collaborated with French leather goods maker Hermes for a key chain that Air Tag can fit into. No word yet on the cost of the high-end leather key chain, but Air Tag will set you back $29 or $99 for four tags. <\/p>\n

A fair portion of Apple\u2019s event centered on the new and improved IPad Pro, which makes use of the company\u2019s M1 processor that powers the MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and Mac Mini. Apple claims the chip will deliver \u201ca big jump in performance\u201d over the previous generation in terms of speed and battery life. <\/p>\n

The IPad Pro, which makes use of the Liquid Retina XDR display, starts at $799 for an 11-inch model and $1099 for a $12.9 inch model.<\/p>\n

Both will be available in the second half of May, with preorders going live on April 30.<\/p>\n

Cook also launched an in-app subscription feature in Apple Podcasts. Now, users will be able to subscribe to content from the app for extra perks, like ad-free and bonus content, as well as early access. <\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Cook said Apple TV is getting an upgrade with a new processing chip and remote, and Apple Pay will add Apple Card Family, which will allow partners and spouses to build joint credit, and give family members over 13 years old access to using Apple Card, too.<\/p>\n
