“#COVID Denier Ted Nugent Tests Positive But Continues To Dismiss It Even While Sick!

Avid Donald<\/strong> Trump<\/strong> supporter and rock musician Ted Nugent<\/strong> tested positive for the coronavirus Monday, announcing the news<\/a> to his dedicated fans in a Facebook<\/a><\/strong> Live<\/strong> while repeatedly using racist slurs to refer to the virus and pandemic. Ugh<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Promoting anti-vaccine conspiracy theories, the singer initially said:<\/p>\n

\u201cEverybody told me that I should not announce this.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

But clearly eager to [Warning: Derogatory Language]<\/strong>\u00a0\u201cgo into the great phenomena of the Chinese virus,\u201d the conservative continued:<\/p>\n

\u201cHere in clusterf**k pandemic, Chinese virus attack 2021. I was tested positive today. I got the Chinese s**t.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Before we go any further, we think it\u2019s important to note that a\u00a0report earlier this year showed that hate crimes against Asian Americans skyrocketed nearly 150% in 2020, following the beginning of the novel coronavirus pandemic as then-president Donald Trump<\/strong> mocked COVID-19 with derogatory terms aimed against China. Words have power, and it can\u2019t be denied that Trump\u2019s callous behavior had an effect on the rise in anti-Asian hate.<\/p>\n

As Chrissy Teigen<\/strong> recently put it, Trump and other politicians who used such phrases to describe the virus \u201cput a target on Asian people\u2019s backs.\u201d Just last month, as some pandemic guidelines began to loosen up, the United States started to once again see mass shootings, specifically, the heinous attack against local spas in the Atlanta, Georgia area that left eight dead \u2014 including six Asian women.<\/p>\n

So yeah, Nugent is being a real ass about this.<\/p>\n

Describing symptoms as \u201ca stuffed up head, body aches, my god what a pain in the ass,\u201d the musician explained how hard it is to go on as normal while sick.<\/p>\n

\u201cI literally can hardly crawl out of bed the last few days, but I did. I crawled.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

When given the opportunity to get a COVID-19 vaccine (before having \u201cflu symptoms for the last 10 days\u201d), Nugent revealed he proudly declined, saying:<\/p>\n

\u201cNobody knows what\u2019s in it. If you can\u2019t even honestly answer our questions of exactly what\u2019s in it and why are you testing it on human beings and forcing it on people in such a short period of time?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Mind you, the vaccine components and technology<\/a> are not new, having been heavily vetted and tested for years.<\/p>\n

But it gets worse\u2026<\/p>\n

The avid hunter (who sells hats akin to the former President\u2019s MAGA caps \u2014 lower inset, above) even asked his doctor if he\u2019d be treated \u201cdifferently\u201d with a negative or positive test result. When the healthcare professional said the care would be the same, \u201cbut it\u2019s good to know,\u201d Nugent had this outburst to boast:<\/p>\n

\u201cI said, \u2018You know, doc, I never went to college, I was too busy learning s**t. And I know the English language pretty good, I\u2019m not a Webster\u2019s Dictionary<\/em>, but I can make my point and I can grasp general<\/a> dialogue.\u2019 I said, \u2018Doc, you say it\u2019s good to know, but what would be the good from knowing?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

He lated added:<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s no good. It\u2019s not good to know!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

So, it kinda seems like he clearly realizes the virus isn\u2019t a total scam like he\u2019s stated before. If COVID-19 truly weren\u2019t something to fear, there would be no harm in testing positive, right? The 72-year-old even shared he \u201cthought I was dying,\u201d so the illness has certainly gotten to him. That realization is at least \u201cgood,\u201d we suppose!<\/p>\n

And also, for anyone still on the fence about this very real pandemic \u2014 it\u2019s definitely helpful to know if you\u2019re sick! Because not only can you take the proper precautions for yourself, you can protect literally every<\/em> person you would otherwise encounter by staying home and quarantining! There are a lot of lives to be potentially saved by a positive test result, so yes, Ted, \u201cit\u2019s good to know!\u201d<\/p>\n
