The only problem is they\u2019re locked to Apple products. The company has been around for a while and it offers several different models to choose from. The one we think is best for most people is the Tile Mate.<\/p>\n<p>Like AirTags, the Tile Mate uses Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) to connect to your Android phone or tablet. The range of the Tile Mate is advertised as 200 feet, but you\u2019ll probably get slightly less in the real world. That\u2019s still really good and should be enough for most situations.<\/p>\n<p>What happens if you\u2019re not in that range? The Tile app will show you where the tracker was when last connected. If that\u2019s not enough, you can mark it \u201cLost\u201d in the app and crowdsource other Tile users to help you find it.<\/p>\n<p>Older Tile models were essentially disposable since the batteries couldn\u2019t be replaced, but that\u2019s no longer the case. The Tile Mate uses a\u00a0standard CR1632 lithium battery that can easily and cheaply be replaced yourself.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-724271 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/FALL20-Grid-Small-Mate-PDP-Grid-1-e1618951358749.jpg?trim=1,1&amp;bg-color=000&amp;pad=1,1\" alt=\"tile mate on bag\" width=\"650\" height=\"366\" data-credittext=\"Tile\" onload=\"pagespeed.lazyLoadImages.loadIfVisibleAndMaybeBeacon(this);\" onerror=\"this.onerror=null;pagespeed.lazyLoadImages.loadIfVisibleAndMaybeBeacon(this);\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span class=\"imagecredit\">Tile<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Tile-Bluetooth-Tracker-Resistant-Replaceable\/dp\/B07W9BBCTB\/?tag=hotoge-20\">Tile Mate<\/a> is slightly bigger than an Apple AirTag, but it has a key-ring hole so you don\u2019t need any extra accessories to clip it to something. Unfortunately, the Tile Mate is only available in white, but there are <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Anti-Scratch-Lightweight-Protective-Bluetooth-Anti-loss\/dp\/B083LFX3X1\/?tag=hotoge-20\">3rd-party cases<\/a> available.<\/p>\n<p>For $3 per month, you can subscribe to \u201cTile Premium\u201d for some additional features. Those include free battery replacements (<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/CELEWELL-CR1632-Battery-Warranty-Capacity\/dp\/B06XQF1578\/?tag=hotoge-20\">a 5-pack only costs about $6<\/a>), a longer warranty (up from 1 to 3 years), 30-day location history, unlimited location sharing, more alert options, and text support.<\/p>\n<p>All in all, the Tile Mate is a very solid counterpart to AirTags, and it has the flexibility to work with more than just Apple products. Tile Mate costs $24.99 for one or $47.99 for a two-pack. However, if for some reason you don\u2019t want to go that route, the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B0832Y5DD2\/?tag=hotoge-20\">Chipolo One<\/a> is another good option.<\/p>\n<p>Chipolo One offers all of the same features as the Tile Mate for the same price. It\u2019s round instead of square, but similar in size and has a keyring hole as well. Chipolo does offer a nice selection of color choices, which is a bonus.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/chipolo.net\/en-us\/\">Chipolo<\/a> advertises the same 200 feet Bluetooth range as the Tile Mate, but you should expect to get less than that too. The CR2032 batteries are also replaceable and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/AmazonBasics-CR2032-Lithium-Coin-Cell\/dp\/B0787K2XWZ\/?tag=hotoge-20\">very affordable<\/a>\u00a0on Amazon.<\/p>\n<p>The one benefit you\u2019ll get with the Chipolo One over any Tile tracker is alerts when you\u2019re out of range. You have to pay for the Premium subscription to get that feature with Tile. We don\u2019t think that\u2019s enough to opt for the Chipolo One, but your use case may vary.<\/p>\n<p>In <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">general<\/a>, the Chipolo One is a perfectly fine Bluetooth tracker, but it\u2019s hard to beat Tile\u2019s big user base when you need help finding something.<\/p>\n<div class=\"product-box\">\nA Solid Option<\/p>\n<div class=\"product-img\">\n<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" aria-hidden=\"true\" tabindex=\"-1\" role=\"presentation\" href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B0832Y5DD2?tag=hotoge-20&amp;linkCode=ogi&amp;th=1&amp;psc=1\" onclick=\"fbq('track', 'Buy Button'); if (fb_t_convert){fb_t_convert();}\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/m.media-amazon.com\/images\/I\/311ebfM0kRL._SL160_.jpg\" height=\"147px\" alt=\"\" role=\"presentation\" onload=\"pagespeed.lazyLoadImages.loadIfVisibleAndMaybeBeacon(this);\" onerror=\"this.onerror=null;pagespeed.lazyLoadImages.loadIfVisibleAndMaybeBeacon(this);\"\/><\/a>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_About_Samsung_Galaxy_SmartTags\"><\/span>What About Samsung Galaxy SmartTags?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you\u2019re an Android user with a Samsung Galaxy device you may be interested in <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Samsung-SmartTag-Bluetooth-Tracker-Locator\/dp\/B08NRS3YP8?tag=hotoge-20\">Samsung\u2019s own Bluetooth tracker<\/a>. Unfortunately, the company\u2019s Galaxy SmartTags don\u2019t have many benefits.<\/p>\n<p>While they have similar functionality to AirTags and Tiles, and are priced closely, Galaxy SmartTags are very limited. For one, they only work with Samsung devices, not even other Android devices.
