The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Hiroyuki\u2019s manga <\/span>Girlfriend, Girlfriend <\/span><\/i>(<\/span>Kanojo mo Kanojo)<\/span><\/i> revealed that the anime will premiere on July 2.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The anime\u2019s cast includes Junya Enoki as Naoya Mukai, Ayane Sakura as Saki Saki, Azumi Waki as Nagisa Minase, Ayana Taketatsu as Rika Hoshizaki, and Rie Takahashi as Shino Kiryuu.<\/span><\/p>\n

The anime\u2019s staff includes Satoshi Kuwabara (<\/span>The Quintessential Quintuplets<\/span><\/i>) as the director, Keiichir\u014d \u014cchi (<\/span>The Quintessential Quintuplets<\/span><\/i>) as the script<\/a>writer, and Akiko Toyoda (<\/span>Akudama Drive<\/span><\/i>) as the character designer. The anime will be produced by Tezuka Productions.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Kodansha Comics began releasing the manga digitally on April 6, and describes the story as:<\/span><\/p>\n

Naoya just got a girlfriend, the gorgeous Saki-chan, and though their intensities often pit them against each other like ice and fire, they\u2019re totally, uncontrollably in love with each other.
