“#We Found It! The WORST George Floyd Take On Twitter<\/a>!

\nAs you probably heard, the\u00a0Derek Chauvin<\/strong> trial has ended with the shocking verdict of GUILTY on all counts \u2014 and we say \u201cshocking\u201d because we\u2019ve grown so used to injustice over the years.<\/p>\n

While it\u2019s been pointed out quite a bit in the cacophony of reactions that this isn\u2019t exactly justice for\u00a0George Floyd<\/strong> himself \u2014 as he can\u2019t be brought back to life \u2014 his killer being found guilty must come as great comfort to the family he left behind.<\/p>\n

Not to mention, this is a grain of hope for people of color throughout the nation that there CAN be accountability for white police officers who commit unnecessary violence against them. In other words, that Black Lives Matter<\/strong> will become a legal reality rather than just a movement.<\/p>\n

OK, so this is a huge watershed moment that many did not expect. So it makes sense when\u00a0CNN<\/strong> anchor\u00a0Don Lemon<\/strong> was asked to give his reaction to the verdict being read live on the air, his first statement was simply to say:<\/p>\n

\u201cJustice has been served.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

He went on to speak about the family and much more, but that emotional moment \u2014 around the 5:00 mark (below) is definitely worth a watch:<\/p>\n
