Method Man and Redman went hit-for-hit tonight during the \u201cHow High 4\/20 Special\u201d VERZUZ event. The \u201cbattle\u201d was a lighthearted event where the two collaborators and friends danced and joked around with each other pretty much the entire time. They ended by announcing that they\u2019re working on Blackout! 3<\/em>.<\/p>\n

RZA, Inspectah Deck, and Cappadonna made guest appearances, and RZA announced that a new album with DJ Screw was on the way. DJ Kool showed up and did \u201cLet\u2019s Get Dirty\u201d and \u201cLet Me Clear My Throat.\u201d EPMD, Keith Murray, and Lords of the Underground\u2019s Dupre \u201cDoitall\u201d Kelly made an appearance. Method Man referenced the verdict reached by the jury in the Derek Chauvin trial today. \u201cGuilty on all charges,\u201d he said, adding later that if you put negative energy into the world \u201cyou deserve every fuckin\u2019 bit of it.\u201d Method and Redman also paid tribute to the late Black Rob and DMX.<\/p>\n
