“#Would Jason Statham Fast and Furious Return Reunite With Han? \u2013 \/Film<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

\u201cJustice for Han,\u201d has been the rallying call for Sung Kang\u2019s fan-favorite Fast and Furious<\/em><\/strong> character, who had app<\/a>arently snuffed it in\u00a0Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift<\/em>,\u00a0the victim of sabotage by Jason Statham<\/strong>\u2018s Deckard Shaw. Meanwhile, Han\u2019s killer was alive and well, and even welcomed into the family by the time\u00a0The Fate of the Furious\u00a0<\/em>rolled around. Now, Han is back in the upcoming F9<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0and justice is served \u2014 though Statham\u2019s Shaw is nowhere to be seen. And Statham would like to remedy that.<\/p>\n

To recap: Han was introduced and killed off during a high-speed chase in 2006\u2019s\u00a0The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift<\/em>, only for director\u00a0Justin Lin<\/strong> to bring him back to the\u00a0Fast\u00a0<\/em>family\u00a0through the magic of timeline reshuffling. Han would become a fan favorite in\u00a0Fast & Furious<\/em>,\u00a0Fast Five,\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Fast & Furious 6<\/em> before heading off to Tokyo for his fated demise at the hands of Statham\u2019s Deckard Shaw. But Lin has worked some more magic to bring Han back again in the ninth installment of the\u00a0Fast and Furious<\/em> franchise,\u00a0F9<\/em>. But can \u201cjustice\u201d really be served if Han doesn\u2019t get to face off with his killer? Statham doesn\u2019t think so.
\n\u201cThey better bring me back, because I need to put out that fire,\u201d Statham told Entertainment Weekly<\/a>. \u201cIf he\u2019s got any score to settle, it\u2019s with me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Statham, who has spun off in his own corner of the\u00a0Fast and Furious<\/em> universe with Dwayne Johnson\u2019s Luke Hobbs in Hobbs and Shaw<\/em>, isn\u2019t expected to appear in\u00a0F9<\/em>, in which Han is set to make his glorious return. But Statham wants to be part of Lin\u2019s plans for the final\u00a0Fast<\/em> installments.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m game<\/a>,\u201d Statham said. \u201cI love Justin Lin, he\u2019s a great director. It\u2019s a shame because when I joined the franchise all those years back, he went on to do something else and all I did with Justin was a little tag at the end. I need to do a movie with him. And I\u2019d love to see all the\u00a0Fast<\/em>\u00a0crew, Vin [Diesel] and everybody, they\u2019re all great people. I have a lot of affection for them.\u201d<\/p>\n

As likable as Statham is in\u00a0The Fate of the Furious<\/em> and\u00a0Hobbs and Shaw<\/em>, it never sat right with me that he essentially got off scot-free for\u00a0killing one of Dom\u2019s friends<\/em>. That\u2019s why the cries of \u201cJustice for Han\u201d grew so loud, because of Shaw\u2019s quick transformation from villain to hero in the\u00a0Fast\u00a0<\/em>franchise. It would only be decent to let Sung Kang\u2019s Han look in the eyes of his supposed killer and get the justice we\u2019ve all been craving. Or at least give him an equally awesome scene as Statham\u2019s\u00a0baby fight<\/a>.<\/p>\n
