\n Bullets flew through the window of a Brooklyn home and entered a sleeping grandmother\u2019s bedroom early Wednesday, police sources said.<\/p>\n

The shots went off on Van Siclen Avenue near Belmont Avenue, piercing the door frame on the first floor and windows on both the first and second floors.<\/p>\n

The grandmother, who declined to give her name, was clearly rattled when app<\/a>roached by the Post at the home Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was sleeping. I did not hear anything. It came right above [my] bed,\u201d she said, gesturing with one hand above her head.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy grandson came in my room and asked me, \u2018Grandma, are you all right?\u2019\u201d she said. \u201cThat was when I knew what happened. He was videotaping where the [bullets] were.\u201d<\/p>\n

Police sources said a child typically slept in the bedroom, but it wasn\u2019t clear if a child was in the room at the time.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m terrified,\u201d the woman said. \u201cI don\u2019t know who did this. I don\u2019t know why. I don\u2019t want them coming back to my house again because they didn\u2019t get me. I\u2019m not talking about it.\u201d<\/p>\n

She said she\u2019s spoken to the police and declined to talk any further.<\/p>\n

Six shell cases were recovered, according to the sources.<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t immedia<\/a>tely clear whether anyone in the home was being targeted or if the bullets were stray.<\/p>\n

Just four days earlier, a stray bullet zoomed into a young girl\u2019s Harlem bedroom on the Fourth of July, lodging on the wall next to her bed.<\/p>\n

The incident comes amid a significant spike in gun violence across the city.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
