Once<\/em> and Sing Street<\/em> filmmaker John Carney<\/strong> has found a new directing gig with Fascinating Rhythm<\/strong><\/em>, a musical movie inspired by the songs of composer George Gershwin. That\u2019s enough to be intriguing on its own, but our interest is further piqued with the additional news<\/a> that the legendary\u00a0Martin Scorsese<\/strong> is going to be producing this movie.<\/span><\/p>\n

Variety<\/a> reports that Fascinating Rhythm<\/em> is set to be produced by Martin Scorsese and directed by John Carney, the director of Amazon\u2019s Modern Love<\/em>\u00a0streaming series<\/a> and excellent film musicals like Once<\/em> and Sing Street.<\/em> (He also directed\u00a0Begin Again<\/em>, which is not nearly as good as his other movies, but isn\u2019t quite as bad as its reputation suggests.) The film is inspired by the music of George Gershwin, the composer behind works like \u201cRhapsody in Blue\u201d and \u201cAn American in Paris.\u201d<\/p>\n
