“#Kliff Kingsbury mocks Sean McVay over Rams’ NFL Draft mansion<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

The NFL Draft is still a week away, but the Los Angeles Rams have already taken the \u201cbest war room\u201d title from reigning champ, Kliff Kingsbury.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, it was revealed the Rams would conduct their draft operations from a 9,000 square-foot Malibu mansion, in partnership with Rocket Mortgage. Cardinals coach Kingsbury, who had the most enviable setup of last year\u2019s draft<\/a>, speculated Thursday that ulterior motives are at play from his NFC West rival.<\/p>\n

\u201cI really think it\u2019s just a ploy by [Rams coach Sean] McVay to allow himself the opportunity to take his shirt off again and jump in the pool like he did on \u2018Hard Knocks\u2019, sip some ros\u00e9, take a dip in the ocean and make some draft picks,\u201d Kingsbury said, according to ESPN\u2019s Josh Weinfuss.<\/a><\/p>\n

McVay and fianc\u00e9e Veronika Khomyn<\/a> app<\/a>eared in the most recent season on HBO\u2019s \u201cHard Knocks,\u201d which showcased the Rams and the Los Angeles Chargers. In one scene, the couple is seen sipping ros\u00e9 outdoors from their Southern California estate.<\/p>\n

In response to Kingsbury\u2019s now-viral comment, the Rams\u2019 Twitter account replied<\/a>: \u201cIf you want an invite just say that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kingsbury, however, will not be surrounded by an outdoor fire pit and a cozy white couch for this year\u2019s draft. The Cardinals will be working from<\/a> the Dignity Health Training Center draft room.<\/p>\n

The Cardinals will select 16th overall next Thursday, while the Rams will get their first pick at No. 57 in the second round.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
