And devastatingly handsome, if the first look images of\u00a0<strong><em>Halston<\/em><\/strong> are anything to go by. But that\u2019s just a byproduct of being played by\u00a0<strong>Ewan McGregor<\/strong>, who stars in the Netflix limited series as fashion designer Roy Halston Frowick, an icon of the \u201970s and \u201980s fashion scene. The above image shows McGregor as Halston as he \u201cleverages his single, invented name into a worldwide fashion empire that\u2019s synonymous with luxury, sex, status, and fame, literally defining the era he lives in, 1970s and \u201980s New York \u2014 until a hostile takeover forces him to battle for control of his most precious asset\u2026 the name Halston itself,\u201d reads a plot de<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">script<\/a>ion.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ew.com\/tv\/ewan-mcgregor-halston-photos-liza-minnelli-ryan-murphy-netflix-series\/\">Entertainment Weekly<\/a> debuted more\u00a0<em>Halston<\/em> images of Halston\u2019s entourage, staged as Andy Warhol-inspired polaroids. In the images, McGregor\u2019s Halston is accompanied by\u00a0<strong>Krysta Rodriguez<\/strong>\u00a0as Liza Minnelli, <strong>Rebecca Dayan<\/strong> as jewelry designer Elsa Peretti, <strong>Gian Franco Rodriguez<\/strong> as artist and window dresser Victor Hugo, <strong>David Pittu<\/strong> as fashion illustrator Joe Eula, <strong>Rory Culkin<\/strong> as future filmmaker Joel Schumacher, and\u00a0<strong>Vera Farmiga<\/strong>\u00a0as Adele (not the one you\u2019re thinking of).<\/p>\n<p>Rounding out the cast is\u00a0Bill Pullman\u00a0as corporate giant David Mahoney, Sullivan Jones as buyer for Alexander department store Ed Austin, and Kelly Bishop as fashion publicist Eleanor Lambert.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s as star-studded and glitzy an affair as you\u2019d expect of a Ryan Murphy show, though it\u2019s hard to be excited for\u00a0<em>Halston<\/em> after the diminishing returns of Murphy\u2019s Netflix projects, which have included shows like\u00a0<em>The Politician,<\/em> limited series like\u00a0<em>Hollywood<\/em> and\u00a0<em>Ratched<\/em>, and feature films such as\u00a0<em>The Prom\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<em>The Boys in the Band<\/em>, all of which received mixed to middling reviews. But the stars certainly have the look right, and it\u2019s hard not to anticipate what McGregor will do with such a flashy lead role. Perhaps\u00a0<em>Halston<\/em> will break the mold of Murphy shows and stay on track instead of spinning gloriously off the wheels.<\/p>\n<p>Along with these slew of new images, Netflix has set the release date for\u00a0<em>Halston<\/em> for\u00a0<strong>May 14, 2021<\/strong>.
