They started the video by saying:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI\u2019m just gonna f**king say it because everybody keeps bringing it up to me.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Related: Courtney Stodden Comes Out As Non-Binary! <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The artist explained how they casually mentioned their sexuality in an <strong>Instagram Live<\/strong> earlier in the month where fans kept asking:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201c\u2018Kehlani what\u2019s new?\u2019 and I\u2019m like \u2018I finally know I\u2019m a lesbian.\u2019 Well, it\u2019s f**king true. I am gay gay gay gay gay.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In the clip, the <em>Can I<\/em> hitmaker then open up about having a heart-to-heart with family and friends to tell them about their self-discovery. However, their reactions weren\u2019t exactly what the R&amp;B star expected:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI\u2019m like, \u2018Guys, I finally know that I\u2019m gay \u2014 like, I\u2019m gay gay,\u2019 and they\u2019re like, \u2018We know. Duh, stupid. Duh. I feel like, \u2018No. I want you to fall on the floor and be like, \u2018Congratulations! We had no idea! Everyone\u2019s just like, \u2018Duh. You\u2019re the only one who didn\u2019t f**king know. In a recent interview with <em>The Advocate<\/em>, Kehlani revealed about how they plan to raise their 2-year-old daughter, <strong>Adeya Nomi<\/strong>, \u201cin a progressive, loving environment surrounded by family, where identity won\u2019t ever be an issue.\u201d The songwriter added:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cAll my friends, all her aunties, uncles, her godparents, everybody is just loudly queer. Our generation already kind of broke the mold of getting to that point, so I don\u2019t even think our kids are going to think about it as something that they have to identify and differentiate. I feel it should be normal.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Even more so, they feel that as more LGBTQIA+ stories enter into the mainstream <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>, queer relationships won\u2019t feel so \u201cdifferent,\u201d explaining:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe\u2019ll be reading queer stories, queer books where the baby has two dads, two moms, two parents who don\u2019t identify as either. <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Movies<\/a> that have that. She sees healthy queer couples. So, I don\u2019t think that she\u2019s going to even think about it as \u2018This is different from normal.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Congrats Kehlani for being able to live your authentic life!
