But his style was certainly something that took her and the other stars by surprise, \u201che only did one take, so they didn\u2019t have a choice to edit.\u201d The actress noted how they\u2019d rehearse for scenes repeatedly and\u201dwe\u2019d do one take, he\u2019d say, \u2018good, let\u2019s move on,&#8217;\u201d Margulies explained. We\u2019re all gonna take our work seriously but we\u2019re not going to take ourselves seriously. We\u2019re gonna do our homework and we\u2019re not gonna waste rehearsals running our lines.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou kind of laid out the ABCs of professionalism and that just became the standard that we operated under,\u201d Wyle commended Clooney. Already getting to work on <em>Homicide: Life on the Street<\/em>, Margulies revealed, \u201cGeorge called me and said, \u2018If you\u2019re thinking of taking another job, I urge you not to.
