However, both these browsers let you lift the restriction if you want. Here\u2019s how to toggle on and off the option to take screenshots in these browsers\u2019 private tabs.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Taking_Screenshots_in_Incognito_Tabs\"><\/span>Taking Screenshots in Incognito Tabs<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>An incognito tab\u2019s purpose is to keep your browsing sessions private. If you or someone else can take a screenshot of these private tabs, your sessions are no longer private\u2014which defeats the purpose of incognito tabs.<\/p>\n<p>However, there are times when you\u2019ll want to capture these incognito tabs. Both Chrome and Firefox let you take screenshots of an incognito or private browsing tab after you\u2019ve enabled the option to do so.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RELATED:<\/strong> <strong><em>How to Use Incognito Mode in Google Chrome for Android<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Take_Screenshots_in_Chromes_Incognito_Tabs_on_Android\"><\/span>Take Screenshots in Chrome\u2019s Incognito Tabs on Android<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>In Chrome, the option to take screenshots in incognito tabs is not located in the settings menu, but it can be found in the flags menu. The flags menu has all of Chrome\u2019s experimental features, and the one you\u2019re going to enable is still experimental.<\/p>\n<p>However, that\u2019s not to say that the feature crashes or doesn\u2019t work. In our experience, it worked just fine.<\/p>\n<p>To enable this option, launch Chrome on your Android device.<\/p>\n<p>When Chrome launches, tap the address bar.
