In an exclusive interview with\u00a0\u201cHannity,\u201d\u00a0former President\u00a0Donald J. Trump\u00a0said that social media<\/a> and\u00a0Big Tech\u00a0firms like Facebook, Twitter, Amazon and Google should face the scrutiny of antitrust investigatory bodies, given their monopolistic actions toward American political discourse.<\/p>\n

The Palm Beach, Fla., resident added that a video released by investigative journalist James O\u2019Keefe proves that CNN committed \u201ccampaign violations.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the video, CNN technical director Charles Chester\u00a0made several shocking revelations\u00a0about the network\u2019s mission to \u201cget Trump out\u201d, and that CNN President Jeffrey Zucker would call into the control room on a \u201cred phone\u201d to demand\u00a0COVID-19\u00a0casualty data\u00a0be made more prominent during a news<\/a>cast to increase ratings.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m\u00a0getting the word out because we\u00a0are doing [press] releases,\u201d Trump said of being banned by Twitter and Facebook. \u201cEvery time I do a release, it\u2019s\u00a0all over the place.\u00a0It is better than Twitter.\u00a0Much more elegant than Twitter\u00a0and Twitter is really boring.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I started with Twitter\u00a0years ago, it was like a fail\u00a0concept, a platform, fail.\u00a0And it became exciting.\u00a0And I think I had a lot to do\u00a0with it to be honest with you,\u00a0it became exciting.\u00a0Now it is boring.\u00a0It is no good anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n

When Hannity asked about the Project Veritas video, Trump called Chester\u2019s revelations \u201cincredible.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat is a campaign violation.\u00a0What they are doing is a massive\u00a0campaign violation.\u00a0When you look at what they\u00a0did,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Trump\u00a0added that Big Tech titans like Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg\u00a0wrongfully dumped hundreds of millions of dollars\u00a0into entities that affect election security measures such as oft-unsupervised ballot dropboxes.<\/p>\n

Zuckerberg and wife Priscilla Chan first contributed $250 million to the Center for Tech and Civic Life in early September to boost resources for local election officials, such as additional polling places and ballot drop boxes. Critics contended the money primarily went to heavily Democratic\u00a0areas in battleground states in an effort to tilt the balance.<\/p>\n

The ex-president added that he is still heavily considering starting his own social media platform, which he said would not be beholden to Amazon or Google.<\/p>\n

In January, Amazon Web Services, a branch of the Washington state cybercommerce giant, kicked upstart social media network Parler off of its servers and effectively rendering it defunct.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey have to be strong and can\u2019t\u00a0be dominated by Amazon, Google\u00a0and people that could take them\u00a0off the air right away.\u00a0You do need antitrust.\u00a0You have to do something about\u00a0it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith all of the things you said,\u00a0look, the Democrats lie, cheat and\u00a0steal.\u00a0They are vicious.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n
