A former owner of a salon in New Mexico has been indicted on 24 felonies after at least two clients contracted HIV from a \u201cvampire facial.\u201d<\/p>\n

Maria de Lourdes Ramos de Ruiz<\/strong>, a former owner of VIP Beauty Salon and Spa<\/strong> in Albuquerque, has been formally charged with racketeering, money laundering, tax evasion, fraud, and practicing without a medical license on Monday. The New Mexico Attorney General<\/a> Hector Balderas<\/strong> made the official announcement on Wednesday, per People<\/em>, saying:<\/p>\n

\u201cIndividuals who jeopardize the health and safety of New Mexican families must be held accountable. We look forward to presenting this case at trial.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
