Here\u2019s how to use it.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019ve lost track of the mouse pointer arrow on your screen, quickly shake your mouse or trackpad finger back and forth. The cursor will momentarily grow much larger on the screen, making its location more visually obvious.<\/p>\n<p>When you stop shaking, the cursor will return to its normal size. This feature works in all versions of macOS, starting with <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/OS_X_El_Capitan\">macOS 10.11 El Capitan.<\/a>\u00a0We also tested it on macOS 11.0 Big Sur.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Disable_the_%E2%80%9CShake_to_Find%E2%80%9D_Mouse_Pointer\"><\/span>How to Disable the \u201cShake to Find\u201d Mouse Pointer<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Shaking the cursor to find it is a handy feature, but if you trigger it too often by accident and find it annoying, it\u2019s easy to disable.<\/p>\n<p>Just open System Preferences by clicking the Apple menu and selecting \u201cSystem Preferences.\u201d Navigate to \u201cAccessibility,\u201d and then click \u201cDisplay\u201d in the sidebar.
