Daniel Cormier seems to have had enough of Jake Paul. Or he\u2019s just trying to get a rise out of people.<\/p>\n

Either way, the retired UFC star confronted Paul Saturday at UFC 261 in Jacksonville, a week after Paul\u2019s first-round boxing knockout of former UFC fighter Ben Askren.<\/p>\n

Paul, who attended the event with NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown, was receiving \u201cf\u2013k Jake Paul\u201d chants from the crowd, which Joe Rogan noted during ESPN\u2019s broadcast. Cormier, who\u2019s also part of the broadcast, said he \u201cpointed at [Paul] and said \u2018don\u2019t play with me,\u2019 because I\u2019ll smack him in the face. He\u2019s right there. I\u2019ll slap him. I don\u2019t play those game<\/a>s, Joe.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cormier, 42, then went over to Paul, 24, and had a heated exchange with the YouTube<\/a> star that was broken up by security.<\/p>\n

Last Monday on his ESPN show with Ariel Helwani, Cormier \u2014 a former UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight champion \u2014 responded to Paul calling him out for a fight in a tweet in which he called Cormier \u201cfat boy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not gonna punch down and fight a guy that\u2019s on YouTube. It\u2019s stupid,\u201d Cormier said. \u201cI\u2019ve fought for world titles my whole life. Why would you start to punch down at a guy that\u2019s trying to, I don\u2019t even know. This dude would never fight me. I would kill him. It\u2019s like, why would I ever fight someone like that? But my immediate reaction was, \u2018I can\u2019t stand this kid.\u2019 So it works.\u201d<\/p>\n

Paul responded on Tuesday during his brother Logan\u2019s \u201cImpaulsive\u201d podcast, telling Cormier, \u201cI\u2019ll beat the f\u2013k out of your fat ass, too.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n
