But his latest venture could be his most daring yet.<\/p>\n

The Tesla tycoon will host \u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d for the first time on May 8, finally giving his comedic genius the spotlight it deserves.<\/p>\n

If Musk\u2019s track record is anything to go by, comedy-lovers are in for a real treat.<\/p>\n

The 49-year-old has previously tickled us with sophomoric 4\/20 puns<\/a>, countless stolen<\/a>memes<\/a>, gags about people dying<\/a> on his conquest of Mars, and quips implying that a diver who rescued a schoolboy\u00a0football team was a pedophile<\/a>.<\/p>\n

His hilarious jests leave anyone with a funny bone rolling in the aisles. But some humorless ingrates have impudently mocked the news<\/a> of his SNL app<\/a>earance.<\/p>\n

Comedia<\/a>n Josh Gondelman tweeted<\/a> that it was \u201chuge for guys still making \u2018that\u2019s what she said jokes who think they\u2019d be great at hosting SNL,\u201d while\u00a0<\/span>Rick and Morty writer Siobhan Thompson ribbed that Musk\u2019s debut would thrill Anchorman aficionados.<\/p>\n

Other critics said<\/a> Musk was the worst choice of host since Donald Trump<\/a>. Ouch.<\/p>\n
