She\u2019s been tortured, battled a nightmarish theocratic regime and was separated from her child.<\/p>\n<p>Season 4, which premieres Wednesday (April 28) on Hulu, doesn\u2019t let up \u2014 but <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> creator\/showrunner Bruce Miller told The Post that the real-world unexpectedly falling into its own dystopia (i.e. the pandemic) did not impact his plans for the show\u2019s fictional dystopia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt did change it practically because of Covid; we were unable to move people around the way we normally do, and so we were producing the show in a different way,\u201d he said. \u201cBut mostly this was the story we were going to tell. I think all\u00a0 the pre<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/sciencee\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"5\" title=\"Science\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">science<\/a> of the project can be traced back to [the book\u2019s author] Margaret Atwood. I would take more of her time if she was less busy. She\u2019s sent the toddler off to walk and she\u2019s just excited to hear how things are going in college. Every once in a while, she puts the kibosh on something, but usually it\u2019s when we\u2019re talking way before [it films]. So we maintain as close of a relationship as we can. In the past she\u2019s come to the writers\u2019 room once or twice a season to say hello and chat. Really, I\u2019ve been on a lot of shows that are based on books, and this is the ideal relationship to have. I\u2019m a little bit of a \u2018one at a time\u2019 kind of person,\u201d he said. \u201cBut it\u2019s a spectacular story and we\u2019ve been able to talk to Margaret long enough that we\u2019ve been able to lay some of the superstructure into \u2018The Handmaid\u2019s Tale\u2019 that would support us moving on to tell \u2018The Testaments.\u2019 Whether it\u2019s its own show or part of this show, those are bigger creative decisions \u2014 but we are definitely moving forward and laying the groundwork.\u201d\n            <\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
