Wr<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ed Bitcoin deposits are also paying an extra 4.59%, while Ether deposits are garnering 2.11% in rewards.<\/p>\n<p>However, the highest rewards appear to be going to stablecoin borrowers, who are currently receiving rewards of between 5.15% and 22.05%<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">AIP-16 received overwhelming \u2018yea\u2019 votes from the community and has officially been executed. This proposal, created by <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/paraficapital?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@paraficapital<\/a>, introduces liquidity mining incentives for Aave V2 \u26cf\ufe0f\ufe0f<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/ewa2Yvlc3w\">https:\/\/t.co\/ewa2Yvlc3w<\/a> <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/s7xgz21eZ8\">pic.twitter.com\/s7xgz21eZ8<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Aave (@AaveAave) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AaveAave\/status\/1386753673104134155?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 26, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>The liquidity mining program was passed through a governance vote on April 24, with 2,200 staked AAVE (stkAAVE) set to be distributed to lenders and borrowers until July 15, worth roughly $880,000 at current prices. The program will be reviewed in July.<\/p>\n<p>More than two-thirds of rewards have been designated to the USDC and USDT markets, with the remaining 32.5% being distributed among Aave\u2019s DAI, ETH, wBTC, and GUSD markets. Aave stated:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cAIP 16 increases the liquidity in the Aave Ecosystem Reserve, which can be used to fund grants, devs, and builders through a community-led grants programme.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Aave said they wanted to reward stable tokens more to discourage risky borrowing and boost stablecoin liquidity. <\/p>\n<p>With roughly 40% of Aave\u2019s TVL still locked in its version one iteration, the v2 rewards campaign is also intended to migrate users to its updated protocol. \u201cBy introducing liquidity mining rewards only on Aave v2, liquidity providers and borrowers will naturally migrate toward the optimized version,\u201d Aave said.<\/p>\n<p>The program follows the success of liquidity mining rewards incentivizing users to explore Aave\u2019s deployment on Layer-two scaling solution, Polygon (previously known as Matic). An April 25 <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MihailoBjelic\/status\/1386051486023667718\">tweet<\/a> noted that Aave\u2019s Polygon deployment had surpassed $1 billion in TVL and 7,200 users within ten days after its launch according to a<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MihailoBjelic\/status\/1386051486023667718\"> tweet on April 25<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to DeFi <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/defillama.com\/protocols\">Llama<\/a>, Aave is currently the sixth-largest DeFi protocol with a TVL of roughly $7.5 billion.<\/p>\n<p><template data-name=\"subscription_form\" data-type=\"defi_newsletter\"><\/template><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
