Actress and comedia<\/a>n Syd Wilder said her newly found success as an OnlyFans model was inspired by a mocking comment from an ex who was breaking things off with her. <\/p>\n

According to Ladbible<\/a>, Syd Wilder became an OnlyFans model last April and has spent the last year rising through the ranks to become part of the top 0.6% of creators on the website. <\/p>\n

This success is thanks to a mean spirited comment from an ex, she tells the outlet. <\/p>\n

\u201cI was going through a break-up, and he was like, \u2018Well, join OnlyFans then,\u2019 and I was like, \u2018I will,’\u201d Wilder recalled. <\/p>\n

Syd set up an\u00a0account\u00a0on the content subscript<\/a>ion site last April, and within a year, she has reached the top one percent \u2013 or to be precise, top 0.6 percent \u2013 of creators on OnlyFans. She owes this success, in part, to the sneering advice of her ex.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m making enough to like cover my bills and everything, but you\u2019ve got to buy lingerie and different things in order to keep your customers happy,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnyway, I didn\u2019t ask for any of this, all unsolicited. So I\u2019ve been kind of a little disturbed by all that, you know\u2026 but I\u2019m just kind of comfortable with getting them now. Not that I enjoy them. But I\u2019m not fazed by anything. Let\u2019s just put it that way.\u201d<\/p>\n

She\u2019s now found a way to monetize the previously unwanted pictures by charging people to send them.<\/p>\n

Wilder charges $50 for a written rating of the picture and $100 for a voice note, per picture. <\/p>\n

The Mirror reported<\/a> that model Eliza Rose Watson, who stole money from her mother and was homeless at one point, is now a millionaire thanks to her work on the platform.<\/p>\n

She has now racked up \u00a31million from the site in the past 12 months, crediting OpenFans for keeping her \u201csane and sober\u201d as the pandemic took a toll on some many people\u2019s mental health.<\/p>\n
