PlayStation 5 has shipped 7.8 million units worldwide and PlayStation 4 has shipped 115.9 million units, Sony announced in its financial results<\/a> for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2021. Sony exceeded its forecast of 7.6 million PlayStation 5 units shipped by 200,000 units. <\/span><\/p>\n
A total of 3.3 million PlayStation 5 units and one million PlayStation 4 units were shipped during the three months ended March 31, 2021. PlayStation 4 shipments were down 0.4 million from the 1.4 million shipped during the same period the previous fiscal year.<\/p>\n
