Publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Housemarque have released<\/a> a 28-minute gameplay deep dive video of Returnal<\/em> ahead of its launch for PlayStation 5 on April 30. <\/span><\/p>\n

The deep dive features Housemarque business development and marketing manager Mikael Haveri, narrative director Gregory Louden, and game director Harry Krueger as they guide viewers a number of typical \u201cruns\u201d through Atropos, where the modular aspects of the levels change, but certain progress persists. It begins fairly early in the game, where protagonist Selene has unlocked a melee weapon and made some initial inroads in the ruins, and follows into the first real \u201cboss\u201d battle, then onto the \u201cCrimson Wastes\u201d (the second region of the game).<\/p>\n
