“#God Has Major News<\/a>, Plus Lucifer and Michael Face Off (VIDEO)<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

God (Dennis Haysbert) is now on Earth, so what better step to take than a family dinner with, as angel Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) calls them, \u201cthe most dysfunctional family ever\u201d?<\/p>\n

That\u2019s glimpsed in the (very fun) Lucifer<\/em> Season 5B trailer, and lucky for therapist Dr. Linda Martin (Rachael Harris), she gets to be present for it. \u201cOh my God,\u201d she says, before correcting herself with, \u201cI mean, you.\u201d<\/p>\n

She\u2019s not the only one who will be meeting the angels\u2019 father. Detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German<\/a>) does as well, and she has some choice words for the being responsible for her love Lucifer\u2019s (Tom Ellis<\/a>) daddy issues. \u201cYou are a terrible father,\u201d she tells God, adding, \u201cRespectfully.\u201d<\/p>\n

It looks like there will also be a chance for \u201cTake Your Father to Work Day,\u201d as God sees what Lucifer does. But where\u2019s his son\u2019s desk, he wonders, after seeing that Detective Dan Espinoza (Kevin Alejandro<\/a>) has one. \u201cMaybe if you work hard enough you might one day rise to this man\u2019s level,\u201d God suggests to Lucifer. And it just keeps getting better, as the two head to Linda for a bit of therapy. \u201cI think it\u2019s time that you and I worked on our relationship, so that I may have a relationship,\u201d Lucifer explains.<\/p>\n

So how will Lucifer and the others react when God decides it\u2019s time to retire? (Can God retire? App<\/a>arently, he can.) Lucifer declares, \u201cI\u2019m going to be God,\u201d but he\u2019s not the only one after the job. So is his twin, Michael (Ellis), who\u2019s gathering support and preparing for war.<\/p>\n
