The upcoming game<\/a>’s\u00a0official Japanese YouTube channel<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u00a0has shared\u00a0BIOmura de Asobo\u266a (Let’s Play in Resi Village\u266a),\u00a0<\/em>a 3-minute puppet show that hopes to convince concerned players that the upcoming game isn’t too scary for them at all, and is in fact nice and lovely.<\/p>\n

The nobility of the game all get cute puppet makeovers, and are voiced by their original\u00a0Japanese voice actors. Look for “Big Sis Dimi” (Lady Dimitrescu, CV\u00a0Kikuko Inoue<\/strong>), “Moreau-kun” (Salvatore Moreau, CV\u00a0Taisuke Nishimura<\/strong>), “Mr. Heisen” (Karl Heisenberg, CV\u00a0Hiroshi Shirokuma<\/strong>), and Angie (CV\u00a0Miyuki Sato<\/strong>):<\/p>\n

Judging by a chart displayed at the end, the video was made in response to a December 2017 poll asking why Japanese gamers didn’t buy\u00a0Resident Evil 7: Biohazard<\/em><\/strong>. The top answer, at 18.1%, was that it was “too scary.” Fortunately, things seem a lot calmer here.<\/p>\n
