“#Watch the Black Keys\u2019 New \u201cGoing Down South\u201d Video<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

The Black Keys have shared a new video for their cover of R.L. Burnside\u2019s \u201cGoing Down South<\/a>.\u201d It\u2019s the second single from their forthcoming album Delta Kream<\/em>, due out May 14 via Nonesuch<\/a>. Check out the Ryan Nadzam<\/a>\u2013directed video\u2014shot at Jimmy Duck Holmes<\/a>\u2019 Blue Front Caf\u00e9\u2014below.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cGoing Down South\u201d follows Delta Kream<\/em>\u2019s first single \u201cCrawling Kingsnake.\u201d The LP comprises covers of Mississippi hill country blues songs. Of \u201cGoing Down South,\u201d Dan Auerbach said in a statement:<\/p>\n

That was one of R.L. Burnside\u2019s hits! We strayed a little from the original on our version with the falsetto and percussion, but we liked how it sounded in that moment. It\u2019s become one of my favorites on the album.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n
