With Kourtney Kardashian and the Blink-182 drummer\u2019s red-hot romance going full steam ahead, friends of the reality star are hoping the pair might head down the aisle soon.<\/p>\n

\u201cCan we start wedding planning yet? You guys are the cutest,\u201d Kardashian\u2019s BFF Tracy Romulus recently responded to a PDA-filled pic of the couple, who were first linked in January.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Barker\u2019s 17-year-old son, Landon, has called their relationship \u201ctrue love.\u201d<\/p>\n

Should the 45-year-old musician decide to get down on one knee in the future, experts tell Page Six Style that Kardashian, 42, may favor a \u201ctimeless\u201d engagement ring design \u2014 not unlike the classic (albeit gigantic) cushion-cut sparkler her younger sister, Kim, accepted from now-ex Kanye West in 2013.<\/p>\n

\u201cKourtney\u2019s refined style would lend itself to something with classic, clean lines and a traditional center diamond, like an emerald or round cut on a solitaire or pav\u00e9 setting,\u201d Shannon Delany-Ron, the CMO of JamesAllen.com<\/a>, told us on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

But Kardashian\u2019s been dressing noticeably edgier since she began dating her rocker beau, stepping out for dates in T-shirts adorned with explicit song lyrics, head-to-toe vinyl<\/a> and more \u2014\u00a0not to mention shocking fans with those steamy Instagram snaps.<\/p>\n

So she could very well \u201csurprise us all with a fancy-shaped diamond ring with some added accent details,\u201d Delany-Ron added.<\/p>\n

Kathryn Money, the SVP of merchandising and retail expansion of Brilliant Earth<\/a>, also anticipates Kardashian will go for a \u201ctrend-forward\u201d ring with a fancy cut and diamond-adorned band.<\/p>\n

Barker was previously married to Melissa Kennedy from 2001 to 2002, and Shanna Moakler from 2004 to 2008. Barker and Moakler, 46, have two kids together: daughter Alabama, 15, and son Landon, 17.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Kardashian \u2014\u00a0whose exes include Younes Bendjima, Luka Sabbat and longtime love Scott Disick \u2014 has never been engaged, but she almost slipped a ring on her finger (and gave fans a peek at her preferred style of sparkler) a few years back.<\/p>\n

On a 2017 episode of \u201cKUWTK,\u201d Disick revealed that he had proposed to Kardashian<\/a>, presenting her with a Lorraine Schwartz ring Kim called \u201creally nice.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was somewhat cute and\u00a0then we just got scared about, like, media<\/a> and this and that, and we were like, \u2018Let\u2019s just put the ring aside and we\u2019ll talk about it another day.\u2019 Never spoke about it again,\u201d the streetwear designer \u2014\u00a0with whom Kardashian shares sons Mason, 11, and Reign, 6, and daughter Penelope, 8 \u2014\u00a0said at the time.<\/p>\n
