Dick Wolf<\/a> is adding a new half-hour drama to his roster.<\/p>\n

IMDb TV, Amazon\u2019s premium free streaming service, has ordered On Call<\/em>, a new series<\/a> from the man behind the Law & Order<\/em><\/a> and One Chicago<\/a> franchises on NBC and the FBI<\/em><\/a> one over on CBS.<\/p>\n

This new series, from Wolf, Universal Television (a division of Universal Studio Group), and Wolf Entertainment, follows a pair of police officers (one rookie, one veteran) on patrol in Long Beach, California. Each episode follows them as they respond to a new radio call, arriving on the scene to resolve an incident.<\/p>\n

The news<\/a> comes the same day as NBC announced a new series in the Law & Order<\/em> franchise, For the Defense<\/em>. It offers a look inside a criminal defense firm and puts the lawyers under the microscope. It joins SVU<\/em> and the new spinoff Organized Crime<\/em> in the franchise, which is also linked to Chicago Fire<\/em><\/a>, P.D.<\/em><\/a>, and <\/i>Med<\/em> via crossovers on NBC. Wolf also has FBI<\/em> and FBI: Most Wanted<\/em>, as well as the upcoming FBI: International<\/em> over on CBS.<\/p>\n

IMDb TV has also announced the premiere date for the first eight episodes of Leverage: Redemption<\/em> and that it has five drama and comedy projects in development: Blessed and Highly Favored<\/em>, Greek Candy<\/em>, Primo<\/em>, The Fed<\/em>, and The Pradeeps of Pittsburgh, PA<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
