\n Prince Andrew was spotted in England this week for the first time since Ghislaine Maxwell\u2019s arrest, according to reports.<\/p>\n

The royal was photographed driving off in a black Range Rover from his estate in the town Windsor, where he\u2019s been hiding out since his former pal was arrested on sex trafficking charges in New Hampshire last week.<\/p>\n

A security officer was seated next to the Duke as they drove off from one of the home\u2019s rear exits, the Sun news<\/a>paper reported.<\/p>\n

He hasn\u2019t spoken publicly since Maxwell\u2019s arrest and has rarely been scene since he gave a disastrous interview with the BBC about his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein.<\/p>\n

After the interview, he was forced to step back from his royal duties \u201cfor the foreseeable future.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt has become clear to me over the last few days that the circumstances relating to my former association with Jeffrey Epstein has become a major disruption to my family\u2019s work and the valuable work going on in many organizations and charities that I am proud to support,\u201d Andrew said in the statement, which was released in November.<\/p>\n

In a six-count indictment handed down last week, federal prosecutors accused Maxwell of trafficking underage girls for Epstein to sexually abuse in the US and in London.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear if Maxwell will cooperate with prosecutors, but at least one lawyer who represents several of her accusers has suggested Prince Andrew could be implicated if she does.<\/p>\n

Attorney Gloria Allred said at a press conference Monday that Andrew should speak with federal prosecutors in New York before Maxwell does \u2014 and warned that the \u201cclock is ticking\u201d for him to do so.<\/p>\n
