\nOMG, what have we been saying?!<\/p>\n

Not to say we told you so, but WE TOTALLY TOLD YOU SO! And now you have it from\u00a0Britney Spears<\/strong> herself!<\/p>\n

After\u00a0Framing Britney Spears<\/em> came out, there was a cultural moment in which the #FreeBritney movement hit a peak. It was one thing when it was about supporting her in her legal fight to get out from under the thumb of her father.<\/p>\n

But it became app<\/a>arent pretty quickly that the scrutiny being put on the Toxic<\/em> singer by these fans was starting to get as invasive as the paparazzi cameras had been at one time. Not only that, all the networks trying to cash in on their own documentaries about the retired pop star were just participating in the same type of media<\/a> frenzy they were covering \u2014 all while pretending to be on her side.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t believe us? Check out what the 39-year-old posted on\u00a0Instagram<\/strong> on Monday afternoon!<\/p>\n

She began her caption to another adorable dance video:<\/p>\n

\u201c2021 is definitely way better than 2020 but I never knew it was gonna be like THIS!!!!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

What does she mean?<\/p>\n

\u201cSo many documentaries about me this year with other people\u2019s takes on my life \u2026 what can I say \u2026 I\u2019m deeply flattered!!!!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

But?<\/p>\n

\u201cThese documentaries are so hypocritical \u2026 they criticize the media and then do the same thing?????\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

See? She\u2019s said before she \u201cwas embarrassed\u201d by what was included in\u00a0Framing Britney Spears<\/em>, but this is such a specific criticism of these kinds of docs!<\/p>\n

What would she like in the future? For everyone to stop focusing on the negative and let that moment \u2014 the darkest period in her life \u2014 remain in the past. She explained:<\/p>\n

\u201cDamn \u2026 I don\u2019t know y\u2019all but I\u2019m thrilled to remind you all that although I\u2019ve had some pretty tough times in my life \u2026 I\u2019ve had waaaayyyy more amazing times in my life and unfortunately my friends \u2026 I think the world is more interested in the negative!!!! I mean \u2026 isn\u2019t this supposed to be a business and society about THE FUTURE???? Why highlight the most negative and traumatizing times in my life from forever ago ???? I mean DAMN \u2026 on a lighter note \u2026 this is a video of me dancing!!!!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Wow.<\/p>\n

She also reiterated that yes, she is doing fine \u2014 despite no one believing her:<\/p>\n

\u201cI hope you\u2019re all living your best lives and s**t or as @parishilton would say SLIVING!!! \u2026 I know I am !!!!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Why do people think this is all some kind of lie? That it isn\u2019t the real Britney, even while she\u2019s putting out videos in which she says she\u2019s alright? Well, it\u2019s not helped by the fact some folks are perpetuating those conspiracy theories \u2014 like her former makeup artist\u00a0Billy Brasfield<\/strong>, who claimed she told him she was not in control of her social media.<\/p>\n

Well, she had some words about that, too:<\/p>\n

\u201cPSSSS I don\u2019t actually talk to Billy B AT ALL so I\u2019m honestly very confused!!! This is my Instagram !!!! PSSSSS no paparazzi guy \u2026 I didn\u2019t want you and your crew following me around !!!!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
