Singapore\u2019s not lovin\u2019 it.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The new McDonald\u2019s Chick \u2018N\u2019 Cheese burger has sparked fury among some dyspeptic customers who are griping online about the \u201cdisgusting\u201d \u201cterrible\u201d and real-life \u201cChum Bucket.\u201d<\/p>\n

The sandwich, which is currently only available at the chain\u2019s locations in the Southeast Asian nation, includes crispy chicken, lettuce, sweet tomato chili jam and a patty made of fried mozzarella cheese. For good measure, it has a slice of American cheese thrown in as well.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The new sandwich was also unveiled with two accompanying sides: Pizza McShaker Fries and Ha! Chicken Drumlets.<\/p>\n

The rollout of the sandwich, which launched last week and McDonald\u2019s said is available for a limited time, was highly promoted in Singapore.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cCheck out the cheeeese in our new Chick \u2018N\u2019 Cheese burger,\u201d the chain wrote on Instagram last week<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s stacked with ingredients from bun to bun that\u2019ll take your tastebuds to the next level!\u201d<\/p>\n

If that sounds too good to be true, it is, according to Singapore-based customers who took to social media<\/a> to express their disapp<\/a>ointment in the new item.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot worth it,\u201d one Instagram user said pointedly. \u201cI was extremely disappointed with the cheese. Something about the flavours didnt gel well.\u201d<\/p>\n

Charles Tan said on Facebook, \u201cdefinitely a no go for me, including the sides.\u201d Jonathan Lee put it simply: \u201cUnderwhelming.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe cheese patty was so disappointingly mushy,\u201d wrote another Facebook user who goes by ZY Huang.<\/p>\n

And a user on Twitter equated the sandwich to \u201cthe Chum Bucket in real life.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Another tagged the McDonald\u2019s Twitter account and said<\/a>, \u201cno one asked for this nonsense. Bring back snack wraps and ditch Chick \u2018N\u2019 Cheese Burgers.\u201d\n <\/div>\n
