Here are three ways to see the current folder path on your Mac.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"See_the_Path_Using_Finders_Status_Bar\"><\/span>See the Path Using Finder\u2019s Status Bar<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Let\u2019s start with the simplest and most visual way of viewing the current folder path: using Finder\u2019s own Path Bar feature. <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/661251\/how-to-open-finder-with-a-keyboard-shortcut-on-mac\/\">Open a Finder window, and from the top menu bar, click the \u201cView\u201d button. It will show you the system path to the current folder. In <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/678458\/whats-new-in-macos-11.0-big-sur-arriving-fall-2020\/\">macOS 11.0  and higher, the title bar truncates the full path, but you can hover over it to see the full path.<\/p>\n<p>To get started, open the Terminal <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>. Click within the Terminal window that appears and paste the following command, followed by Return. (This sets a hidden system flag, then quits and relaunches all Finder windows. You can\u2019t copy the folder path.<\/p>\n<p>If you change your mind and want to disable the folder path feature, paste the following command in the Terminal app and press Return.<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_1-0-90\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\"><code>defaults write com.apple.finder _FXShowPosixPathInTitle -bool false;\u00a0killall Finder<\/code><\/p>\n<p>The Finder toolbar will be back to how it used to be.
