It\u2019s time for a family reunion on A Million Little Things<\/em>. Gary Mendez\u2019s (James Roday Rodriguez) father, Javier (Paul Rodriguez), is stopping by for a visit in the May 5 episode, and TV Insider has an exclusive sneak peek.<\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t worry, I quarantined for two weeks,\u201d Javier assures his son as Gary joins him and Danny (Chance Hurstfield) in the kitchen. \u201cCome over here and give me a hug.\u201d But he\u2019s talking to Gary\u2019s girlfriend Darcy (Floriana Lima), whom he\u2019s meeting for the first time. \u201cI love this house you inherited,\u201d Javier tells his son after hugging him.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a loaner,\u201d Gary corrects him. He\u2019s staying there with Delilah\u2019s (Stephanie Szostak) son Danny, while she\u2019s stuck overseas as a result of the pandemic, flights, and her father\u2019s injury. (Her daughter, Sophie, played by Lizzy Greene, recently flew out to be with her.)<\/p>\n

\u201cI know, because you don\u2019t actually work for a living,\u201d Javier continues and, when Gary reminds him he got re-hired by his old job, adds, \u201cThe joke\u2019s not funny that way.\u201d<\/p>\n

In \u201cJunior,\u201d Gary\u2019s dad connects with Darcy about his personal experience from the Vietnam War; she was just at a retreat the therapist she\u2019s seeing for her PTSD recommended. Meanwhile, during a dinner hosted by Rome (Romany Malco) and Regina (Christina Moses), the video of George Floyd\u2019s murder is released, and they watch together in shock.<\/p>\n
