The wife of former Hillsong megachurch pastor Carl Lentz has broken her vow of silence six months after the pair was fired from the megachurch due to his infidelity.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI have looked at these palm trees everyday for the past few months & there are many symbolic meanings to these amazing trees,\u201d Laura Lentz, 40, begins the meandering Instagram caption<\/a> on a shot of palm trees and a sunny sky, posted on May 5 \u2014 the couple\u2019s 18th<\/a> wedding anniversary. \u201ca few that have resonated with me during this season of my life: they are strong, can weather the biggest storms, they always grow upwards.\u201d<\/p>\n

The lengthy post goes on to explain that Lentz took a break from Instagram, where she has over 312,000 followers and last posted in October, because social media<\/a> \u201cwas not good for my soul.\u201d <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Carl, 42, who has over 663,000 followers on Instagram, has not posted since he announced his departure from Hillsong on Nov. 5.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Before returning on Wednesday, Lentz said she \u201cblocked & deleted more people & comments than i can count.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

She also declares that \u201ctrolls are cowards\u201d and that \u201cSOME \u2018Christians\u2019 are anything but kind, gracious, or loving.\u201d Despite such toxic individuals, she continues, she cannot be stopped from \u201cgrowing upwards & getting stronger.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Justin Bieber, who once counted Carl among his best friends, has also recently made critical comments, vaguely critiquing pastors who \u201cput themselves on this pedestal.\u201d\u00a0Other critics of the megachurch didn\u2019t mince their words. <\/p>\n

In the months since her husband\u2019s affair was revealed and both were let go from their positions leading the Australia-based church\u2019s NYC branch, Lentz has \u201clearnt a lot about herself\u201d she wrote. (She has also relocated from New Jersey to Los Angeles, where paparazzi have continually documented<\/a> her spending time with Carl and their three children.)<\/p>\n

Laura concludes her post by declaring her heart \u201cfree of bitterness\u201d while warning that she \u201cwill not forget who abandoned us\u201d and thanking those who \u201chave stayed & loved us.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Among the many responses to the post is a note from Hillsong senior pastor and co-founder Bobbie Houston, 64.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cLaura. It\u2019s been an arduous, taxing and sad season,\u201d Houston commented. \u201cTime is a faithful friend when we allow it to heal. Glad you are feeling stronger. Praying better days are ahead for everyone. \u2014 Bobbie\u201d<\/p>\n

Neither Hillsong nor Lentz immediately returned The Post\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n
