We knew the charming, 2D hand-drawn style from the original <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> would be gone, but the first official trailer has been released and you can see for yourselves just how plastic-y and cheap these characters look when rendered in three dimensions in a computer. Check out the trailer below.<span id=\"more-670039\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Rugrats_Trailer\"><\/span>Rugrats Trailer<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=w9qvm5H5Zto\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=w9qvm5H5Zto<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think they\u2019ve gotten better over time,\u201d the purple-haired Stu Pickles says at the end of this trailer, in a line that\u2019s supposed to make audiences feel good about the nightmare fuel they\u2019ve just witnessed. But to tweak a quote from the great Marge Gunderson in <em>Fargo<\/em>: I\u2019m not sure that I agree with you a hundred percent on your police work there, Stu.<br \/>\n<!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post -->To my eye, these characters have not \u201cgotten better over time,\u201d but in fact look far worse than they ever did in the original animated series. And that\u2019s really saying something, because the original show had a unique, almost purposefully shoddy aesthetic which imbued its characters with imperfections and an energy that made the show feel different than anything else that was on TV at that time. But this reboot, which comes from the same creative team as the original, has taken that original vibe and dipped it in plastic, creating a shiny, impersonal look that feels less like a professionally created show from a major streamer and more like a college kid experimenting with animation software.<\/p>\n<p>The cast is comprised mostly of the original voice actors:\u00a0<strong>E.G. Daily <\/strong>(Tommy),\u00a0<strong>Nancy Cartwright<\/strong>\u00a0(Chuckie),\u00a0<strong>Cheryl Chase<\/strong>\u00a0(Angelica),\u00a0<strong>Cree Summer<\/strong>\u00a0(Susie), and\u00a0<strong>Kath Soucie<\/strong>\u00a0(Phil and Lil).
