{"id":243379,"date":"2021-05-06T06:40:20","date_gmt":"2021-05-06T03:40:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/lapd-cop-arrested-on-child-pornography-charges\/"},"modified":"2021-05-06T06:40:20","modified_gmt":"2021-05-06T03:40:20","slug":"lapd-cop-arrested-on-child-pornography-charges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/lapd-cop-arrested-on-child-pornography-charges\/","title":{"rendered":"#LAPD cop arrested on child pornography charges"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#LAPD cop arrested on child pornography charges<\/strong>&#8221;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/05\/lapd-officer-arrested-for-child-pornography.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>An LAPD cop was arrested for possession of child porn and distributing obscene images of a minor, the Long Beach Police Department announced Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>James Diamond, a 25-year veteran of the force, was s<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trip<\/a>ped of all police powers amid an administrative investigation, LAPD information officer Tony Im told The Post.<\/p>\n<p>Diamond, 52, was last assigned to the personnel division, he said.<\/p>\n<p>Long Beach detectives received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about possible online sharing of child sexual abuse material, the department said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> release.<\/p>\n<p>The detectives gathered \u201csufficient information\u201d to identify Diamond, the release said.<\/p>\n<p>Diamond was arrested in the city of Huntington Beach Wednesday morning and search warrants were issued for his home in Long Beach and at the LAPD, Long Beach police said.<\/p>\n<p>He was booked on two felony counts of possession of child pornography and two felony counts of distribution of obscene matter depicting a minor, according to the arresting department.<\/p>\n<p>Diamond\u2019s bail was set at $100,000, the department said in its release.\n            <\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
