Rome\u2019s new \u201cMr. Pizza Go\u201d can cook four types of pizza in three minutes, but the early reviews are that the pies taste just like you\u2019d expect from a vending machine.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s OK but it\u2019s not pizza,\u201d university student Fabrizia Pugliese told Reuters<\/a> after digging in.<\/p>\n

Fabrizia Pugliese, a Naples native and university student in Rome, gave the machine-made pizza a try and gave it a thumbs down, saying it tasted more like a \u201cpiadina,\u201d an ultra-thin soft unleavened bread wrap popular in northern Italy.<\/p>\n

A pensioner named Gina, who didn\u2019t give her last name, called it \u201cterrible.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPizza really needs to be eaten hot, immedia<\/a>tely,\u201d she said. \u201cThis doesn\u2019t work for me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pay the equivalent of $5.20-$7.20 and Mr. Go Pizza kneads the dough, adds toppings and then cooks it behind a small glass window.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt looks good but it is much smaller than in a restaurant and there is less topping,\u201d pensioner Claudio Zampigo told Reuters.<\/p>\n

At a nearby restaurant that has a brick oven, there didn\u2019t seem to be much curiosity about the new competition.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wouldn\u2019t even think of eating a pizza made by a machine,\u201d Giovanni Campana said.<\/p>\n
