Its tagline is &#8220;The secrets of super civilization have been entrusted to these people.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The manga was originally serialized in Shogakukan&#8217;s Weekly Shonen Sunday from 1989 to 1996 and compiled in 11 tankobon volumes. Its story follows the adventure of Yu Ominae, one of the top agents called &#8220;Spriggan&#8221; at the ARCAM Private Army whose purpose is to seal the ancient civilization&#8217;s artifacts in order to prevent them from being used for human wars.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The new anime, directed by <strong>Hiroshi Kobayashi<\/strong> (<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.netflix.com\/title\/80241960\"><span style=\"color:#ffcc33;\"><em>Dragon Pilot: Hisone and Masotan)<\/em><\/span><\/a>, will be streamed worldwide on Netflix in 2021.
