We\u2019re, therefore, going into the finale hoping that Higgins will stay put, but there is a cause for concern when you think about the story itself. Over the course of the hour (entitled \u201cBloodline\u201d), she has to decide whether or not to take off on a Doctors Without Borders journey with Ethan. Clearly, there are some deep feelings between the two, and that could take her away from Magnum and all of the work they\u2019ve been doing. She\u2019s focused so much on her career over the course of her life, and this does serve as an opportunity to put something else front and center for a while.<\/p>\n<p>If Higgins does choose to leave with Ethan, we do recognize that it may not be forever. There is still a chance that she could come back to Hawaii down the road, but who knows if she\u2019s going to be a different person then? (The reason we say this now is that in the event Higgins\u00a0<em>does\u00a0<\/em>leave tonight, it\u2019s not some sure-fire sign that Perdita is gone from the show.)<\/p>\n<p>As the episode airs tonight, we will have more updates on what\u2019s going on with Higgins \u2014 and also with Magnum\u2019s feelings for her, which are also important given what we\u2019ve been told about this episode in advance.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Heres_your_update%E2%80%A6\"><\/span>Here\u2019s your update\u2026<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Higgins\u00a0<em>is\u00a0<\/em>leaving, but odds are, Perdita will be back. The show specified that she would be off with Ethan for the next six months, and that implies there will be an opportunity for her to come back.
