The official Twitter<\/a> account for the anime adaptation of Kugane Maruyama\u2019s <\/span>Overlord<\/span><\/i> light novel series<\/a> announced that its anime adaptation will receive a fourth season and an all-new anime film to cover the \u201cSei \u014ckoku-hen\u201d Arc (Holy Kingdom Arc). The announcement was first made during a special live streaming marathon of the <\/span>Overlord<\/span><\/i> TV anime series. Additionally, original novel illustrator so-bin drew a special illustration to celebrate the announcement.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The anime\u2019s returning cast includes Satoshi Hino as Ains, Yumi Hara as Albedo, Sumire Uesaka as Shalltear, Emiri Kat\u014d as Aura, Yumi Uchiyama as Mare, Masayuki Katou as Demiurge and Kenta Miyake as Cocytus.<\/span><\/p>\n

The original <\/span>Overlord<\/span><\/i> light novel series released online in 2010. Kadokawa\u2019s Enterbrain imprint began publishing the series in print in 2012. The anime\u2019s first season premiered in July 2015. The second premiered in January 2018, and the third season premiered in July 2018. Crunchyroll and Funimation streamed the series as it aired and Funimation released its English dub.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
