“#Pressure on TLC to cancel shows after Josh Duggar arrest<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Viewers are counting on TLC to cancel the Duggars\u2019 show after Josh Duggar\u2019s April 29 arrest<\/a> for possessing child pornography.<\/p>\n

A Change.org petition<\/a> that calls for the network responsible for airing \u201cCounting On\u201d to cancel the reality show has been signed by nearly 7,000 as of Thursday. Viewers are demanding that TLC cancel the reality show and pull all Duggar family programming from its website and streaming platforms.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Duggar family should no longer have a platform,\u201d the petition reads. \u201cThis family should no longer be allowed to collect money from streaming services and television series<\/a>. Enough is enough. Too many people have been harmed.\u201d<\/p>\n

The backlash comes after Duggar, 33, pleaded not guilty in the child pornography case and was released from prison on bail<\/a>.<\/p>\n

TLC did not immedia<\/a>tely respond to The Post\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n

The eldest Duggar has not app<\/a>eared on any TLC program since 2015 when fans learned that he had allegedly molested five minors \u2014 including four of his younger sisters \u2014 when he was a teen. He was never charged over those accusations.<\/p>\n

The scandal rocked the network, forcing it to cancel the show, then called \u201c19 Kids and Counting.\u201d The series was then replaced by a spinoff, \u201cCounting On.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since news<\/a> of Josh\u2019s arrest surfaced, fans have taken to social media<\/a> asking the network to remove all Duggar programming that the infamously large family financially benefits from<\/a>, many using the hashtag #BoycottTLC<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe fact that @tlc is keeping @duggarfam on the air after Josh Duggar was charged with possessing 200 photos of CP is just HORRIFYING. #boycottTLC,\u201d wrote one Twitter user<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, Duggar was granted bail<\/a> and will be placed in the home of a third-party custodian \u2014 a family he knows through his church. The disgraced father of six will reportedly stay in a self-contained space on the custodian\u2019s property, and will not be allowed to use the internet, drink, use drugs or handle guns. He is, however, allowed to see\u00a0his children<\/a>\u00a0if his wife, Anna, is present, and he can leave the home for work and church.<\/p>\n

Homeland Security revealed earlier this week that Duggar allegedly had at least 65 images of child porn<\/a> and a video on his computer. A program that was supposed to alert his wife when he viewed X-rated material was also found. Some of the inappropriate and sick photos that were found were \u201cin the top five of the worst of the worst<\/a> that I\u2019ve ever had to examine,\u201d Homeland Security special agent\u00a0Gerald Faulkner said during\u00a0Duggar\u2019s detention hearing<\/a>\u00a0in Arkansas.\n <\/div>\n
