France and Germany, whose COVID-19 vaccination campaigns are lagging behind the U.K.\u2019s, are also trying to ease their economies out of lockdowns, albeit at a slower pace.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"articleList\">\n<li>\n      Emboldened by the success of his Conservative Party in last week\u2019s local elections, Johnson is set to push for the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fnlondon.com\/articles\/uk-to-ease-restrictions-from-17-may-heres-what-you-can-and-cant-do-20210509\" class=\"icon none\">full reopening<\/a> of restaurants, as well as hotels, on May 17. \u201cWe can now look forward to unlocking cautiously but irreversibly,\u201d he said on Sunday night.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n      In Germany, people who have been vaccinated against or have recovered from COVID-19 <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dw.com\/en\/coronavirus-digest-vaccinated-germans-enjoy-new-freedoms\/a-57473823\" class=\"icon none\">are exempted<\/a> since Sunday from most of the severe restrictions that remain in place throughout the country for now, although they are require to abide by <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social<\/a>-distancing measures, such as wearing masks in shops.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n      France will allow restaurants to serve outside from May 19, according to a timetable recently announced by President Emmanuel Macron.
