“#New DMX Album Exodus Announced<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

The first posthumous DMX album has been announced: Exodus<\/em> is out May 28 via Def Jam<\/a>. Swizz Beatz executive produced and produced the new record. He said in a press release:<\/p>\n

My brother X was one of the most pure and rare souls I\u2019ve ever met. He lived his life dedicated to his family and music. Most of all, he was generous with his giving and loved his fans beyond measure. This album, X couldn\u2019t wait for his fans all around the world to hear and show just how much he valued each and every single person that has supported him unconditionally.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The cover art for Exodus<\/em>, seen below, is by Jonathan Mannion<\/a>. Exodus<\/em> will mark the first DMX album for Def Jam since 2003\u2019s Grand Champ<\/em>.<\/p>\n

DMX died on April 9 at the age of 50. His memorial service was held at Brooklyn\u2019s Barclays Center on Saturday, April 24.<\/p>\n
