Stuffy men in period clothes holding meetings in stuffy rooms by candlelight, while the tortured genius goes un<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>reciated for his vision. But wait, is that\u00a0<strong>Eve Hewson<\/strong> talking about Google? Is Ethan Hawke holding a modern-day microphone? Several anachronisms don\u2019t line up with the 19th century setting of\u00a0<em>Tesla<\/em>, but that is Almereyda\u2019s intention: to inject a little electricity into the old-fashioned biopic.<\/p>\n<p>The story of\u00a0<em>Tesla<\/em>, which follows Nikola Tesla in his battle to create his revolutionary electrical system in the face of disbelieving patrons and fellow inventor and rival Thomas Edison (<strong>Kyle MacLachlan<\/strong>), is told with several stylistic flourishes, including Hewson\u2019s Anne Morgan breaking the fourth wall by addressing the contemporary audience. It\u2019s an inventive way to stage the biopic, especially after we\u2019ve seen so many big-screen iterations of Nikola Tesla, one of which was played by David Bowie, no less. He\u2019s also appeared in another recent biopic,\u00a0<em>The Current War<\/em>, and in an episode of\u00a0<em>Doctor Who<\/em>.\u00a0The trailer plays out almost like a mystery, hinting at an otherworldly element to Tesla\u2019s inventions, which is a fun way to keep us entertained through another biopic.<\/p>\n<p>Also starring in\u00a0<em>Tesla\u00a0<\/em>are<strong> Jim Gaffigan, Hannah Gross<\/strong>, and <strong>Ebon Moss-Bachrach<\/strong>. The film originally made its world premiere at this year\u2019s Sundance Film Festival, where it won the Alfred P.\u00a0Sloan\u00a0Feature Film\u00a0Prize.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the synopsis for\u00a0<em>Tesla<\/em>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Brilliant, visionary Nikola Tesla (Ethan Hawke) fights an uphill battle to bring his revolutionary electrical system to fruition, then faces thornier challenges with his new system for worldwide wireless energy. Another thread traces Tesla\u2019s sidewinding courtship of financial titan J.P. Morgan (Donnie Keshawarz), whose daughter Anne (Eve Hewson) takes a more than casual interest in the inventor.
