A Michigan man reportedly made an ass of himself when he signed in for a virtual arraignment on Zoom using the screen name \u201cButtf\u2013ker 3000.\u201d<\/p>\n

St. Joseph District Judge Jeffrey Middleton, a rising YouTube<\/a> star, posted courtroom video Tuesday of the man\u2019s anal gaffe, Law and Crime reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen we\u2019ll bring this fool in,\u201d Middleton said, as the offensive name popped up before the man\u2019s face appeared.<\/p>\n

\u201cGood morning, sir, what\u2019s your name?\u201d the judge asked.<\/p>\n

When \u201cButtf\u2013ker 3000\u201d realized Middleton was addressing him, he identified himself as Nathaniel Saxton.<\/p>\n

\u201cYour name is not Buttf\u2013ker 300, you yo-ho, logging into my court with that as your screen name,\u201d the judge snapped.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat kind of idiot logs into court like that?\u201d the appalled jurist added.<\/p>\n

The dimwitted defendant said he did not believe he typed anything like that and apologized before the judge briefly kicked him out of the Zoom feed.<\/p>\n

Saxton reappeared a few minutes later and said his sister had set up his Zoom account, adding that the unfortunate name was an inside joke.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m embarrassed. I\u2019m sorry,\u201d said Saxton, who faced a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia in the city of Three Rivers, an alleged violation punishable by up to 90 days in the slammer and a $500 fine.<\/p>\n

Prosecutor John Barnes said Saxton was found with a used syringe that tested positive for meth residue.<\/p>\n

He initially pleaded not guilty but later admitted to having a syringe and other paraphernalia when Middleton noted that the normal fine for the offense is $200 \u2014 which he ended up having to pay.<\/p>\n

\u201cIs your sister there?\u201d the judge asked him.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, unfortunately, she is not,\u201d Saxton replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cTell her she almost got you put in jail for contempt of court,\u201d Middleton said, eliciting another apology.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
