Adam Sandler returned to the infamous IHOP location on Monday to surprise the hostess who didn\u2019t recognize him in a viral\u00a0TikTok. <\/p>\n

Sandler returned to the Long Island location for Milkshake Monday, a charity event that was inspired by the actor\u2019s tweet<\/a>. \u201cFor the record, I only left the IHOP because the nice woman told me the all-you-can-eat deal didn\u2019t app<\/a>ly to the milkshakes,\u201d he wrote on May 3.<\/p>\n

The promotion donated $1 (up to $50,000) for every IHOP milkshake that was purchased on Monday to the nonprofit\u00a0Comedy Gives Back<\/a>, which supports the comedy community with mental health support. <\/p>\n

The restaurant also offered all-you-can-drink milkshakes at its 19 Long Island stores in honor of Sandler\u2019s tweet. <\/p>\n

On Monday, the 54-year-old posed wearing IHOP face masks with hostess Dayanna Rodas, who\u00a0captioned the video<\/a>, \u201cCouldn\u2019t have been more excited!! Thank you Adam Sandler!\u201d<\/p>\n

Sandler shared a photo<\/a> from the event of his English Bulldog Babu, captioned \u201cThank u IHOP for Milkshake Monday.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rodas\u2019 TikTok first went viral when she posted a video of her turning Sandler away from the busy restaurant when she failed to recognize the star. <\/p>\n

\u201cPleaseee come back,\u201d the 17-year-old begged in the caption of her TikTok, which showed security camera footage of the hilarious April 25 encounter. <\/p>\n

She explained, \u201cNot realizing its Adam Sandler and telling him its a 30min wait and him [of course] leaving [because] hes not going to wait 30mins for IHOP.\u201d<\/p>\n

The embarrassed teen later said: \u201cIt wasn\u2019t until a customer walked in about 15 minutes later saying, \u2018Adam Sandler was outside,\u2019 when I realized I spoke to Adam Sandler!\u201d <\/p>\n

The celebrity easily blended into the crowd wearing a sweatshirt, sneakers and shorts\u2014and obviously covering half his face with a mask. <\/p>\n
